| 07:54.58 | jer | i need to design an upgrade mechanism for my device. had one worked out before i moved away from the vivi loader in favour of uboot (several reasons, but suffice to say, not going back). in doing so, i also changed my root filesystem from yaffs2 to jffs2 (uses less flash). however, on the device, i can't flash_erase /dev/mtd3 ... ; nandwrite -p -s 0x560000 /dev/mtd3 my.rootfs.jffs2 ... i mean, i can, but rebooting gives the error can't find init. |
