04:50.18sunsp0ts[TK]D-Fender, yeah I've already finished up an agi script. Wish I just started there, I wasted a big part of my night because I was so baffled as to how there could be transactions and documentation for transactions, yet apparently no one has ever tried them. Thanks for confirming my decision.
04:53.11sunsp0tsThere are even published Asterisk books out there that include the subject of transactions and specify how to begin/commit one, but they don't mention you can only execute a single query between that begin and commit.

09:03.11matt_hi, I have a provider than isn't sending a rtpmap line for one of the codecs (fmtp) in a SDP payload, i'm guessing this is a 'shout at the provider' issue and not something I can fix locally?
09:03.37matt_like tell asterisk to ignore it or assume some default, i'm guessing dtmf wont work if I dont have a telephone-event line
09:04.18matt_i'm getting ... m=audio 29410 RTP/AVP 8 101 and a=fmtp:101 0-15 is the only references to codec 101

11:33.22seanbrightmatt_: there is nothing you can do on the asterisk side that i am aware of
11:37.58seanbrightand i'm not seeing anything in the RTP/AVP RFC that indicates 101 is special
11:39.34seanbrightfrom RFC 4566: RTP payload formats under the "RTP/AVP" and "RTP/SAVP" profiles MUST use the payload type number as their "fmt" value.  If the payload type number is dynamically assigned by this session description, an additional "rtpmap" attribute MUST be included to specify the format name and parameters as defined by the media type registration for the payload format
11:39.42seanbrightso yes, shout at the provider
11:57.25matt_seanbright: ok cool, cheers, I have blocked that provider for now but I have also raised a ticket to let them know
11:57.54matt_seanbright: annoyingly it only seems to be happerning for some UK mobile numbers, i'm guessing the number are all on the same network but havn't checked

18:47.41[sr]i'm just telnet'ing it
18:47.44igcewielingA COMODO cert?   Aren't those the ones who had such terrible security both Chrome and Firefox removed them from their CA list.
18:47.55[sr]as you see asterisk.org has an IP configured that is not working
18:48.07[sr]it's up to you to tell cloudfare to fix it or not ;)
