00:29.26jmordicahi all, I'm running asterisk 16 latest on centos 6. opus transcoding requires glibc 2.14 (but centos 6 has 2.12 as default). I can compile and use glibc 2.14 and get asterisk running but it breaks other things.. Is there a way to tell the opus module to use a custom path for the updated glibc lib?
00:29.33jmordicainstead of the default libc path?

01:10.33aoeuiCan the Opec codecs get any love for the ARM platform?
01:10.41aoeuiOnly supports x86 now
01:11.14AmyMaliknot from asterisk
01:11.26aoeuioh well
01:11.50aoeuiThere are beefy ARM servers now
01:12.03aoeuiit would be nice, but I understand resources are limited on the Asterisk side

01:14.22Samothttps://mf4.xiph.org/jenkins/view/opus/job/opus-armv8/
01:14.41SamotSome of the platforms on which Opus has been tested include x86, x86-64, ARM, Itanium, Blackfin, and SPARC.
01:14.54SamotSo it seems there is love for Opus on ARM.

01:27.54AmyMalikaoeui: the issue is that the source code for the opus transcoder module has not been released due to unresolved patent issues
01:28.03AmyMalikthat's the official story anyway
01:28.28AmyMalikas far as I know there are no unresolved patent issues and sangoma are being weird for the sake of being weird

20:35.38war9407Is there anyway to put dashes in the CIDNUMBER in voicemail.conf?
20:35.41war9407to make it easier to read
20:35.55war9407emailsubject = Voicemail from ${VM_CIDNUM} on ${VM_DATE}
20:36.04war9407is it possible to format/change VM_CIDNUM in voicemail.conf?

21:00.43[TK]D-FenderExactly what you should expect
21:00.53[TK]D-FenderIt goes in like it goes in.
21:01.16[TK]D-FenderVoicemail doesn't somehow know that things were different any earlier in processing
