05:36.20acovrigthis may/may not be the place to ask, I have a Polycom SoundPoint IP 601 and I can’t for the life of me get intercom to work - I tried SIPAddHeader(Alert-Info: Ring Answer) in my extensions.conf and Set: __SIPADDHEADER=Alert-Info: Ring Answer in a call file and neither cause the intercom to happen
05:36.36acovrigI’m running Asterisk 13.22.0 (FreePBX)
05:37.25acovrigand Polycom SIP v 3.1.8.0070 BootROM 3.2.3.0002
05:38.15acovrigI even setup a provisioning server and set <alertInfo voIpPort.SIP.alertInfo.1.value=“Ring Answer” … > in the sip.cfg

18:33.52Sladehm, twilio has a decent phone number validation/normalizing service.. wonder if flowroute has one too or if thats too 'appy'

18:47.09jchillerupHi, I'm trying to debug some weird auth issues I'm having with IAX2 currently. My config worked fine yesterday, but not today. It's as if the 'register' message doesn't reach the upstream server, although using netcat I have confirmed that udp packets on port 4569 are coming through OK.
18:47.56jchillerupThe two sites have about 800ms of ping (I'm on the Greenland ice sheet using a satellite connection), and I'm tunnelling my IAX through OpenVPN
18:49.47[TK]D-FenderIt's not getting through.
18:49.50[TK]D-Fenderperhaps packet loss
18:49.55[TK]D-Fenderor some other factor
18:49.57jchillerupI've enabled all kinds of IAX debugging but I don't see any indication that the packet ever reaches landside. The camp Asterisk box reports "max retries exceeded to host" so I'm starting to think I should just up a timeout somewhere
18:50.13jchillerupchan_iax2.c:3591 __attempt_transmit: Max retries exceeded to host 10.255.0.1 on IAX2/nbicph-29654 (type = 6, subclass = 1, ts=10, seqno=0)
18:59.54jchillerupHuh. Just tunnelled it around the VPN and then it worked (but then I have issues with the sound). Then back through the VPN, and then it *still works*

19:34.50SamotSlade: Twilio is more a developer platform than a provider. So their stuff is way more 'appy' than Flowroute.
