10:34.11paany chance someone here has an audiocodes MP11x?
10:34.27pai tried to upgrade the FW, and that apparently bricked the damn thing
10:36.18pai tried using AcBootP tool (the older bootp apparently doesn't install on a windoze 64), but that software doesn't see the device
10:36.40pai followed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kXr1xxL9n4

17:12.04fileGoogle appears to have blocked it, and one of the people behind Google Voice at Google stated it violates what you agree to and may cause your account to be terminated
17:14.58joako537well that sucks :( I bought polycoms phones to make it all worked and it did for while until I cant make calls anymore
17:16.35joako537I know thee are other SIP providers out there but nothing beats free you know lol

17:32.14aoeuitermination is about half a penny a minute - why is the GV hack worth it?
17:36.42sibiriahalf a penny a minute to terminate to... landline? mobile? in what country?
17:37.19aoeuiUS termination is cheap, and there are better rates than GV for international
17:38.21sibiriawhat's the typical us cents/minute termination fee with US trunk providers?
17:38.25sibiriafor mobile or landline

17:40.45aoeuiyes, no reason to fight with getting Google Voice for cheap

17:55.01aoeuiflowroute/anveo/voip.ms/localphone/thinq if you want trunking, there are tons to choose from
17:55.51joako537I guess I have to do some research about it :/
18:11.41igcewielingI've used Vitelity for very low volume service since around 2003

20:56.18trmgRe: SIP trunk provider...I use Anveo Direct and am very happy with the service.  I like how you can go crazy customizing routes.  Only negative is it's not a flat rate...it depends on the route and the destination...but you can usually find good routes that are still like fractions of a penny for most destinations.
20:56.55trmgThe other downside is there is little tech support (the service is geared towards wholesalers who in theory know what they're doing) unless you pay them.  They do give you I think 4 free tickets before they start billing per ticket.
20:57.02trmgFWIW I've never had to open a ticket /w them.
