06:37.47notconmcg[TK]D-Fender: i having trouble where we use a external service to handle the fax services for our customers, our network is very stable, but getting endless complaints about fax transmission
06:39.09notconmcgthey supply us a t38 fax service, i am looking to make my own t38 service.
06:39.26notconmcgi am battling to understand the fax process using t38
06:40.03notconmcgdoes the gateway convert the fax into a image file and then forward the image over t38?
06:40.35notconmcgand on the far side convert it back into fax signaling when passing it onto the external fax service

12:33.41_boothi all, my sip trunking provider has a number of IP addresses that I can receive calls from, and 1 that outbound calls should go to. the outbound address is the same as one of the possible inbound addresses, which is causing asterisk to match my outbound sip config rather than an inbound one when i receive calls. on outbound calls i have to supply a username+secret but the provider does not authenticate in
12:33.47_bootbound calls, and so my outbound auth settings are making it impossible to receive calls - is it possible to get a sip configuration "excluded" from matching so that it can be used only as an outbound thing?

16:48.05ThomasKellerI have several extensions, from 2221 to 2229
16:48.11ThomasKellerI need to check if dst is one of these extensions
16:48.18ThomasKellercan I use some kind of wildcard 222* ?
16:48.24ThomasKelleror do I have to test explicitly, ie:
16:48.28ThomasKeller${CDR(dst)} = 2221 | ${CDR(dst)} = 2222 | ${CDR(dst)} = 2223 | ${CDR(dst)} = 2224
16:48.50ThomasKeller?
16:49.10Kobazdo an extension match _222[1-9]
16:49.25[TK]D-Fender"core show function REGEX"
16:49.30Kobazthat too
16:49.54Kobaz^222[1-9]$
16:49.57[TK]D-FenderKobaz, Don't assume you're on an exten that matches the dst
16:50.14Kobazi'm giving options
