12:23.14[TK]D-Fenderthere is a file in the tarball listing them

12:26.52[TK]D-FenderThen again, 13 is the current LTS

15:24.44minghagshello! Im wondering if anyone can help me find good statistics module or something for outbound call center? If it even  exist
15:25.02Tachoh[TK]D-Fender: i am a consultant trying to debug an existing piece of software
15:25.03[TK]D-Fenderminghags: https://www.google.ca/#q=asterisk+queue+stats
15:25.15[TK]D-Fenderminghags: 2 second Google search shows plenty obviously exist
15:25.30Tachohthe design currently uses 1 manager conection per user and the number of users can scale up to the hundreds
15:25.34[TK]D-Fenderminghags: Took fewer words and less time than your question :)
15:26.02Tachohi sugested switching to 1 session as this is wasting a ton of resources, but gotta work with what i have for now
15:26.04minghagsactually this is for queues :) im searching only for outbound calls
15:26.13Tachohsuggested*
15:26.45[TK]D-Fenderminghags: "asterisk CDR call stats"
15:27.33Tachohi know that if you need adding manager connections eventually the asterisk physically wont be able to keep up, but i am not able to figure out if there is a hard limit set anywhere
15:28.32[TK]D-FenderNothing hard beyond running out of TCP ports I suppose

16:22.07GreenlightThink I'll get it then
16:22.22ChainsawGreenlight: It's an all-AMD shop here. Linux performance is good, amount of show-stopping silicon bugs is lower...
16:22.45[TK]D-FenderLook at teh actual work done by the CPU's.  Intel tends to win a lot there.
16:22.51ChainsawGreenlight: There was a slight disadvantage with vSphere that is now being addressed. The financial industry is all about the AMD.
16:23.38Chainsaw[TK]D-Fender: Intel is great for single-threaded workloads like games, yes.
16:23.49Chainsaw[TK]D-Fender: I find our server workloads are nothing like that.

17:30.56fileas in server software... or...
17:31.13djgermyeah, server software. like coturn, or resiprocate.
17:31.54fileand what do you mean by SIP credentials...
17:33.26djgermThe SIP user credentials that are associate with a phone. In asterisk, they'd be the username= and secret= for a peer.
17:33.54djgermor the "register" function.
17:38.01filehow user credentials are stored is an implementation of the underlying SIP server and implementation

17:41.43djgermSure, so it'd be pretty slick if a TURN server was designed to leverage those SIP server creds instead of its own authentication infrastructure, which is how all the TURN servers I've seen do it.

20:57.18mbowieI've recompiled * with both --enable-dev-mode and DONT_OPTIMIZE set... along with adding -g to the command line, but I'm still unable to get it to dump core on crash. A couple of times a day, we're getting the following on connected consoles, and the * process stops. We have a PID watch script running to kick it back into gear, but any active channels drop, which is a bit of an issue. http://pastebin.com/7vA0FgUy
20:58.16mbowieI've upped debug etc, but am yet to see any sort of consistency in events around the "crash".
20:58.48mbowie(I'm hesitant to call it a crash... since it just stops with no evidence of a whoopsie.)
21:10.56WIMPyNot very interesting. What do your logs say? And have you looked around for the core files? Maybe they are not where you expect them?

21:12.48mbowieHi WIMPy... logs don't yield anything which isn't seen during normal operation; calls in progress etc (even with debug bumped up)... I've find a "find / -name asterisk.core -print" without success... and nothing in ~, which is where the * process was initiated from.
21:13.38mbowieI fear I'm turning into a crazy person. :-)
21:15.13WIMPyOh, we're used to that.
21:15.33mbowieGiddy up!
21:16.56WIMPyDidi you enable coredumps in asterisk.conf or does your restart script restart it with -g?
21:17.18mbowieI've added -g to the init script, and verified it's there in ps ax
21:17.29mbowieI didn't realize there was a flag for it.
21:17.51WIMPyWhat about permissions?
21:18.33mbowieThat's a very good point.
21:19.35mbowieI'll alter the init path to something with 777 and see if that helps. Thanks WIMPy... really appreciate the fresh context!
