23:11.38Tsutsukakushilkcl: sorry for bombarding you with messages in the thread
23:12.00Tsutsukakushithis video you linked is pretty good
23:15.46Tsutsukakushiand sorry for bothering you with that tor stuff
23:15.56lkclTsutsukakushi: no it's great!
23:16.09Tsutsukakushibut i kind of expect a free software/open hardware/privacy stuff to let me access them with Tor
23:16.18Tsutsukakushiand it's way too often that they don't
23:16.21lkclTsutsukakushi: i'd rather know that tor isn't working because we have to have people access the site anonymously
23:16.23Tsutsukakushiand it really annoys me
23:16.34lkclTsutsukakushi: i didn't know!
23:16.37Tsutsukakushi:3
23:16.38Tsutsukakushiyea
23:16.41Tsutsukakushinow you do
23:16.54Tsutsukakushii suggest you start using Tor all the time
23:16.59Tsutsukakushiyou'll really start hating cloudflare
23:17.28lkclTsutsukakushi: there *is* a possible way... but hmmm.... you'd end up leaking your IP address to me - i run a VPN which i run all my HTTP traffic through
23:17.32Tsutsukakushithis stuff kind of reminds me of the joanna rutkovska talk in the last CCC
23:17.37Tsutsukakushiabout the stateless laptop
23:17.45Tsutsukakushithat's kind of what the laptop you have is
23:17.48lkclwhy the hell don't cloudfare run an onion node?
23:17.53lkcloo i have to go look that up
23:17.55Tsutsukakushiand the card is the dongle that she was theorizing
23:18.00Tsutsukakushii'll get you a link
23:18.03Tsutsukakushifew seconds
23:18.08lkclack, appreciated.
23:18.40lkclwell if you look at the Motorola Atrix Laptop USB-HDMI dongle hack you might find it's pretty similar

23:18.56Tsutsukakushi:3
23:18.57Tsutsukakushithere
23:19.25Tsutsukakushithe usb stuff inside the laptop is quite genious
23:19.56Tsutsukakushiway to get around that planned obsolessence of usb devices :p
23:20.38lkclit's an idea that comes from the alwaysinnovating touchbook... which so many people haven't even heard of!
23:20.51Tsutsukakushii haven't heard of that
23:20.53Tsutsukakushigonna look it up
23:23.10lkclahh it's such a pity they didn't do a modular design, they used an OMAP3530 which was of course great at the time but very very quickly a load of rubbish.  the entire design - otherwise absolutely brilliant - was let down by *one* part... the processor
23:23.18lkclit's a hard lesson to learn
