20:07.09bkero_Hey guys, I seem to be having a problem with me slug. :/  I have 4 hard drives in LVM, sd[b-e].  Now I'm not getting a device node in /dev for sde, no matter what the drive is.
20:07.19bkero_dmesg says everything looks fine
21:38.48*** join/#openslug caplink811_log (n=caplink8@dslb-088-073-007-009.pools.arcor-ip.net)
22:57.20joshinbkero_: What version of OpenSlug?  What kernel?  Did you check to see if sde is excluded from udev somehow?
22:58.55bkero_It was just a 3.10 I picked up recently
23:04.54*** join/#openslug caplink811_log (n=caplink8@dslb-088-073-007-009.pools.arcor-ip.net)
23:25.58joshinbkero_: if you're linux literate, I'd recommend grabbing the master makefile and figuring out how to build your own firmware.  The current version is _way_ better than the old 3.10
23:26.00*** join/#openslug caplink811_log (n=caplink8@dslb-088-073-007-009.pools.arcor-ip.net)
23:26.34joshinIf you can compile and install your own kernel, you can figure it out.  :)
23:28.09bkero_Yea
23:28.17bkero_I have a mastermakefile, and stuff made
23:28.45bkero_I was trying to get some bitbake packages made for some apps I use.  After I get makemasterfile, how would I go about making my own firmware?
23:38.42rwhitbybkero_: DISTRO_EXTRA_RDEPENDS in local.conf should add stuff to the installable image.
23:39.43rwhitbyif the package you are after is already in OE, and compiles for the nslu2, then we can easily add it to the feeds and you can just ipkg install it from there.
23:40.23bkero_Yea, I'm not worried about the package right now however.  I'm just wanting to get a good system built for it
23:40.59rwhitbymake slugosle or make slugosbe (depending on which endianness you want)
23:41.26rwhitby(using the master makefile)
23:44.25bkero_Intel moved their http://www.intel.com/Please-Read-The-BB-File/IPL_ixp400NpeLibrary-2_3.zip
23:44.36bkero_so my make is failing
