01:35.35ToxicFrogIs there any way to set the systemsettings->display->scale factor setting from the command line? Or, better yet, to set it per-application?
01:36.38ToxicFrogI have a 2880x1620 screen; at scale=1 everything is fine, but at scale=2 SDL apps break (because SDL_GetVideoMode() returns 2880x1620, but with scale=2 this results in them running off the end of the screen, since they need to ask for 1440x810 to actually display right)
01:37.14ToxicFrogBut I can't use scale=1 for general use, because everything else is unreadably tiny.

03:28.23oneforall2konq what does view>lock current Location do and Link view
03:31.51oneforall2also what file and where(all know dirs) does it auto save too konqueror/dolphin  to reopen with our tabs/splits
03:32.38*** join/#kde codi (~sherman@175.193.153.73)
03:32.44madpropsin konqueror still a thing?
03:32.51oneforall2also is ther maybe a check box in setting that got turned of on me
03:32.59JohnnyMnemoniconeforall2, https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/applications/konqueror/index.html
03:33.42oneforall2sould be cause there in NOTHING else that has the power of tabs and mor that 1 split .. side bar with trees that you need want and the list goes on..
03:34.21JohnnyMnemonicyeah konqueror is great.
03:34.53madpropsnot even installed by default on kde neon
03:35.21oneforall2dolphin is watered down and useless . like having a mill $$ and being told 10grand is better ..
03:35.37madpropsreally? i think dolphin is pretty good
03:35.59oneforall2yes a simple filemanager but not sa powerdull one
03:36.26oneforall2sa/as powerdull/powerful
03:36.43madpropswhat can konqueror do that dolphin can't?
03:37.28oneforall2like tabs with more than 1 split ftpp to a few web pages you have quickly in the 1 tab send the files to all 4 easy ... list again goes on .
03:37.37jankusanagi_fly at warp speed, according to some... xD
03:38.20oneforall2same with in you own local
03:38.47*** part/#kde codi (~sherman@175.193.153.73)
03:39.28oneforall2side tab with three view can make it easier to copy to more each tab  tab too and just a lot more
03:39.53oneforall2can't do any of that with dolphin ..
03:40.10JohnnyMnemonichow do you feel about tuna
03:41.26oneforall2konq with kde3 I kept the home.desktop to open it in filemanager mode remembering all my open tabs and the default one for if I wanted just the browser , I prefered the folder icon to for the file mode
03:41.38oneforall2with/from
03:43.26madpropsis konqueror still maintained?

03:45.29oneforall2yeah unfortunately that url is the same as the help on and see nothing about saving it and how to reopen it cause the one in fav in the mneu doesn't . It just opens it with thw error I metioned before . F2 type qonqueror and that open the normal one to setup as file manager web and the 2 other options
03:46.08oneforall2madprops more like removing great part of it ..

03:48.49oneforall2JohnnyMnemonic it funny too cause a lot says dolphin and not all that is avoidable any more .. places for one .. or I missed a build switch to enable it .. wouldn't surprise me since somethings aren't auto lately ..

03:49.06oneforall2parts*
03:49.21madpropsidk but i have a feeling there's a good reason dolphin replaced kq
03:49.29oneforall2avoidable/available
03:50.12oneforall2well its useless to me and allways has been ..
03:51.32oneforall2and it doesn;t replace it because it doesn't do half of what konqueror did..
03:52.24oneforall2same as telling me 10grand is a better replacement for a million$$ . not a chance in hell..

04:35.18oneforall2:) but never said I wanted to get rid of dolphin not that selfish but konq fully should still there as another option when you need that extra power . Really should be the other way though dolphin as the other option.
