19:10.08E5ten[m]it's 64x64
19:11.07oprypinE5ten[m], how do you know?
19:11.37E5ten[m]I know the developer, he confirmed for me that the 64x64 icon used in the .desktop is the same one being used in the tray icon
19:12.00E5ten[m]the app isn't too complicated and it's bash so I double checked as well
19:12.04oprypin(first of all, 64x64 is too little by today's standards, but it's not related)
19:12.44oprypinE5ten[m], the graphics framework uses some kind of outdated standard that defaults to 16x16 if not much is known about the environment
19:13.37E5ten[m]so it there anyway to fix that without resizing my panel to make the icons smaller like was suggested online?

19:40.12krrkHello
19:40.47krrkDoes anyone know how to limit the number of 'msgfmt' processes when building KDE software?
19:41.29toskykrrk: do you get errors?
19:41.38krrkI am working on the macOS packages in Homebrew and some of the formula do not build because they hit the maxproc limit
19:42.54krrkYes, clang try to run posix_spawn, this fails because the maxproc limit is hit, then it causes a bunch of processes including launchd to go into an uninterruptible sleep
19:43.51toskykrrk: the parallelism should be limited: https://cgit.kde.org/ki18n.git/commit/?id=5a70e96795f1e8529780f49ab30b19fcfab12a11
19:43.53krrkraising the maxproc limit fixes the issue `sudo launchctl limit maxproc 2500` for example, but I think the correct approach would be to limit the number of processes that make is spawning
19:44.18krrkwell when I make `kia-extras` for example, I am finding it runs up to 700 processes
19:44.35krrkthe macOS limit for maxproc is 709 per user by default
19:45.13toskykio-extras
19:45.43krrkyes, kio-extras, mac does autocorrect so strongly
19:47.30toskycheck the commit above: either tune that macro (it's in ki18n, basically don't use the number of processors)
19:48.02toskyif it works, file a bug against ki18n asking for a parameter for ki18n_install to set the level of parallelism

19:56.14krrktosky*
19:57.02krrkThis commit you references is what made it into KDE applications 18.04, because building 17.12 was not giving me this issue.
19:57.32toskykrrk: uhm, no, that's unrelated to KDE Applications
19:57.44toskykrrk: the macro is part of KDE Frameworks - did you upgrade it as well?
19:58.19krrkoh, I see
19:58.28krrkso that is part of the new frameworks 5.45.0?
19:58.37krrkSince I didn't have this issue with 5.44.0
19:59.02toskyyes, it was introduced between 5.44.0 and 5.45.0
20:00.39krrkOkay, so then when I build kio-extras it will use this macro from ki18n? So to test I need to change it in ki18n, rebuild and then test in kio-extras?
