08:54.29 | alvin | Guys, is there anyone who can tell me more about https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359226 I know this is a libssh bug, and not KDE, but libssh development is very slow. In the meantime, the SFTP kioslave is unuseable. (I really need ProxyCommand because most places don't have IPv6 yet here) |
08:56.44 | rindolf | alvin: the reproduction recipe there is incomplete. |
08:57.14 | alvin | It is? What could be missing then? |
08:57.45 | rindolf | alvin: well, I don't understand how to reproduce it. |
08:58.53 | alvin | Well, the host you want to reach has to be behind an SSH jumphost. So you'll have the 'ProxyCommand' option in ~/.ssh/config for that host. That will work fine with OpenSSH and previous versions of libssh with SFTP kioslave, but no longer. You will not be able to connect with the current versions. |
09:00.17 | alvin | The example in the description looks correct. His 'destination' can't be reached using sftp:// KIO because he needs the ProxyCommand option to an intermediate server. |

21:13.35 | sisten_ | anyone got any idea how to use another wm. tried to add KDEWM=... in xinitrc |
21:13.57 | sisten_ | Iv been using bspwm for 2 years and just used to it but want the other nice things from kde |
21:14.07 | DGMurdockIII | I want to change the default keyboard layout in tty, not in kde (I still haven't tried to start x yet) |
21:14.44 | tosky | DGMurdockIII: so that's a question about the underlying distribution (ubuntu) |
21:15.43 | DGMurdockIII | ok |
21:16.40 | tosky | DGMurdockIII: I'm not an ubuntu user, so this may or may not work (again, please ask on ubuntu channels): https://wiki.debian.org/Keyboard |
21:19.00 | sfranzen | sisten_: maybe put "export KDEWM=..." as a script in ~/.config/plasma-workspace/env? |
21:19.12 | sfranzen | (can also do this somewhere in system settings) |
