01:06.33Boohbahhow can i get Task Manager to use the same type of thumbnail scaling as Task Switcher? Switcher thumbnail scaling does not look good
01:06.47Boohbahsorry, Task Manager scaling does not look good
01:09.24jsamythBoohbah: I'd be happy just to get much smaller thumbnails. I don't need a 3inch thumb nail.
01:10.18Boohbahthat would be a nice feature too

10:12.29GortiZHi, I've a problem with folderview plasmoid on KDE 4.13.3 (I know it's pretty old, but searching on internet I think this is still the behaviour on the latest version). My problem is related to a folder mounted via NFS which i show on the desktop using a folderview. The folderview doesn't update the content untill I press F5 while having the focus on the folder. I know that for network filesystem there isn't a mechanism to monitor file a
10:12.52GortiZso I've installed FAM, but the issue is still there. Is there any configuration I missed to make this work?

10:15.19BlaXpiritfor folder view they could make an exception to refresh periodically, but it might not even be implemented anywhere
10:15.39GortiZBlaXpirit: I understand, but is there a way to workaround it? My issue is related to the customer using the PC, he's not really good with it and I would prefer to not ask him to press F5 every time to check if the folder is mounted
10:16.08GortiZeven an ad-hoc solution would be ok
10:16.08BlaXpiritwhy use widgets in the first place?
10:16.18BlaXpiritso  what do you actually want?
10:16.35GortiZbecause he is used with windows and he's accustomed to have some folders on the desktop ready to be used
10:16.56GortiZthose folders are contained on a network share
10:16.59BlaXpiritit's not like windows has a folder view widget
10:17.28GortiZyes, but it has folders on the desktop ;)

10:18.24BlaXpiritGortiZ, you could make it so clicking an icon on desktop  opens a new file manager window
10:18.31BlaXpiritwhich immediately tries to load that folder
10:19.04GortiZBlaXpirit: the point is that on windows he has the folders on his pc not on a network share, and with the new system I need to have the same folders stored on a network location
