03:22.00codebrainzI mean this thing: http://i.imgur.com/s7Lt7US.png
03:23.01bshahIIRC there was some option for that..

03:30.22codebrainzthe one for Panel seems to have no effect
03:31.08codebrainzi actually don't want to make it impossible to disable icons and stuff, it's just that those in the panel aren't disabled, they're just random normal windows it chooses to make grey
03:31.30codebrainzlike for normal widgets, i'd like stuff to still look "disabled" when it's disabled
03:32.50bshahI remember there was some bug report for it.. and also solution for it..
03:33.01codebrainzmaybe the panel needs to restart

03:50.11bshahcodebrainz: this can work btw
03:50.13bshahHere's a simpler way to achieve the same: Look for org.kde.plasma.tasks/contents/ui/Task.qml on your system, open it with a text editor and change line 219 ("enabled: !model.Minimized") into "enabled: true", or remove it altogether.
03:50.21bshahc15
03:52.27codebrainzhmm, sounds like how I got myself into a mess when GNOME3 came out and i had to tweak a bunch of JS scripts to work around the issues. it didn't end well :)
03:52.43codebrainzi wonder if i can edit a copy in ~ and it'll override the system-wide one
03:53.11bshahyep; can be done..

04:03.29bshah?!
04:03.32zztoplessI'm guessing there are no current repositories available to pull down 5.2 or 5.3 (I believe there was a couple of weeks ago)?
04:03.40codebrainzwhen i upgraded ubuntu it put this new kde stuff on here

09:36.13baizonhi, i have a problem regarding KDE 5.3. My audio is "a little bit" broken. Every boot my default audio output device is set to "line out" instead of "speaker". Can someone give me a hint how to fix it? It did work with KDE 4.14. I personally think it's a systemd bug.

09:39.39zztoplessI had a similar issue with my dual monitor setup reverting back to 'one on top of the other' in settings every time I restarted.  My solution was to go back to Mint and give kde a few more months to iron everything out... :/

09:51.57stuartminteresting, I wouldn't have considered either of those two issues to be kde related, at least with my distro audio configuration/monitor layout is handled outside of kde
09:52.43stuartmbut then I suppose everything is trending to greater integration
09:53.17SilverCodeis it possible to map emulate media keys using another key combination. Kind of how I can get Caps-Lock to emulate Ctrl?
