00:16.47Alan_HicksPhr33d0m: Played with it enough to get it back to normal. Booted into Slackware-13.37 with the nvidia card active, rebooted and activated the intel card again, and now it works once more.
00:16.58Alan_HicksNo idea why that would make a difference though.
00:17.24Phr33d0mrelinking or preloading stuff, neither do I have a clear idea sorry
00:18.07Alan_HicksIt's an intriging question. I'm reluctant to file a bug report though since it is likely related to the nvidia optimus stuff.

00:42.06lenAre there any improved launcher widgets available for KDE that allow you to stack more than one application on the same laucher like you can on XFCE?  For example, say you asually use Firefox, but sometimes use Chrome or Opera, so you want the FF icon on your panel where if you click and release it it will launch FF, but if you click hold the Chrome and Opera icons will appear in a above it you you can choose one of them instead.
00:44.08Phr33d0mlen you mean a launcher "folder" with the 3 icons inside?
00:44.20Phr33d0mI'm not sure if kde has it
00:46.29lenPhr33d0m, Kind of, I guess.  I want one default laucher icon that works like any other, and a vertical column of other choices that pop up if launcher if default icon is held and not release for second or so.
00:47.22lenI've only seen this on XFCE.  They've had it for a long time.  I'd think others DE's would copy because it works really slick.
00:48.13*** join/#kde denysonique (u484@gateway/web/irccloud.com/x-hhvufhvlgrvqjlcd)
00:48.42lenIt seems like quicklauncher could be modified just slightly to achieve the same effect in KDE.
