I used getXconsole to "grab" the x session. now since i updated to version 3.5.8 i get an DCOP communication error (couldnt read network connection list). if i press ok, the script goes on and works. what happend to my scripts? how can i fix that?

I use GDM and can't figure out how to get it into GDM's menu, so I started it with startkde and see the splash screen, but after that it's a black screen. Lots of console output, some errors but they don't look fatal. Audio stuff.

23:54.05PhilRodMurrlin: kde settings are stored per user, so if it's a new user, there won't be any old settings
23:54.44PhilRodbut if the user has run kde before, there'll be settings in ~/.kde, ~/.config and ~/.local, plus temporary files in /tmp and /var/tmp .
