01:37.39 | mmu_man | best is to sit in front of a table |

08:44.44 | flo5702- | An update on yesterdays step counter discussinon: the BHI160 does count steps more or less immediately. It may take a few steps to recognize that you are now walking, but then it stay mostly in snc with the movement. The delayed updates I observed were in fact caused by clogged FreeRTOS queues and overly generous queue send timeouts. |

17:51.41 | Stormwind_mobile | I got a 5 pack of USB-C to micro USB adapters for about 2,50â¬, and took one of them apart. Looks like a much cheaper source for USB-C plugs than cutting a 5⬠cable in half, that you have to solder wires to, anyway. |

18:50.17 | DocScrutinizer05 | Stormwind_mobile: a usb-c to micro usb sounds like only 4 wires are running to the usb c. This won't match the requirements |

19:21.58 | DocScrutinizer05 | I guess if you got a pcb with all USB-C pins routed out to get access to them, you could attach a shielded twisted pair to the right pin pair but if that's really more convebient than "cutting a 5⬠cable in half" is questionable |

20:12.02 | DocScrutinizer05 | re >>that you have to solder wires to, anywayyy I think those wjould be as short as possible, max 20cm each(ideally should be shielded too) while the common twisted pair cable from USB-C to Y-fork may well be more than 1m from wrist to breast |

20:55.17 | Stormwind_mobile | Well, there's room for debate which aspects are important for whom. |
20:55.17 | Stormwind_mobile | I'd prefer having only one location to solder instead of multiple, which need to be isolated, can break individually, etc. |
20:56.45 | Stormwind_mobile | It's intended as a suggestion what is possible, some hackers have to turn every penny twice, some just buy a ten-pack off amazon, and both is fine. |
