16:20.26akweonjconnolly, have you had a problem where SDK 2.0 tells you BUG Simulator is running when it's not? i tried restarting eclipse.. doesn't help
16:21.13jconnollyakweon: yes, bcruskie i think has a RI for it
16:21.20jconnollyakweon: I think he had to ps aux | grep java
16:21.26jconnollythen kill the pid corresponding to the BS
16:21.33akweonoic.. that sucks
16:21.36akweonok cool. thanks for the info
16:21.59grundjconnolly: when I wget from your machine it runs fine, from dauber it chokes, then nothing works again

17:37.46zobboI won a bug earlier this year and didn't have chance to play with it much. Last weekend I got it out of the box and found out it had a wireless connection even though the card inside the box says it's a Hiro P. All fine. I was playing around with the dash connection (through the web browser). However I came to do a reboot and now the dash doesn't appear as something I can run. Seems to have vanished. Also the LCD is just stuck on "starting rmnologin"
17:38.12zobbonow I thought I'd reinstall the root file system and start again (don't have a micro sd card reader, just ordered one) so was just going to reinstall what I have
17:38.23zobbobut 'fdisk -l' doesn't seem to show me anything !

18:49.17stefan_schmidtheh, no :)

19:05.00jconnollyyou know our build system and our product, haveahennessy wants to get more feedbac/activity from the linaro work and I was wondering about how we could go about trying to use some of the work.
19:05.24grundWe'd really like to know the world domination timeline
19:05.40jconnollyyes, when shall we expect to be swalloed/bought by linaro?

19:06.20hrwI am paid by Canonical not Linaro
19:06.53jconnollynaturally haveahennessy is in a meeting now. i think he's interested in using some of the work on uboot, kernel, toolchains
19:07.04hrwI think that for buglabs there are few things to check
19:07.06jconnollysomehow merging it with our OE-based work, or at least learning more about it
19:07.48hrw1. linaro kernel tree - 2.6.35 based on ubuntu one + changes from arm communities. kind of linux-next for arm it is planned to be
19:08.16hrw2. U-Boot - we do not support other bootloaders and we base on more or less recent one.
19:08.57hrw3. toolchain - we provide gcc 4.4 and 4.5 in monthly releases. main area is cortex-a8/9 improvements, neon etc
19:09.18hrwthe goal is to squeeze whatever is possible from arm chips to make it faster
19:09.44hrwsome code will land in eglibc 2.12.1 (and later) and in other projects
19:09.57hrw4. dev tools - valgrind, gdb, oprofile etc
19:10.11jconnollygrund: ^^^
19:10.43jconnollyI wonder if linaro is on the minds of the OE TSC
19:10.48hrwkernel require some work (you are still 2.6.31?) but split it into smallest parts and push mainline - will help you always
19:11.04jconnollyyes but we were considering 2.6.34 very soon after launch
19:11.14hrwuboot probably will be easy as there is nearly nothing special in bug one iirc
19:11.18hrwjconnolly: .35 not .34
19:11.19jconnollyyes
19:11.22jconnollyindeed hrw
19:11.29hrw.34 is not supported by stable releases
19:11.46hrwand .35 is linaro tree too
19:11.55jconnollymakes sense
19:12.09hrwgcc/linaro gdb/linaro can be added into OE in easy way I think
19:14.11hrwbut thats not me - not in nearest month
19:14.18stefan_schmidtheh
19:14.25stefan_schmidtlooks to some other place
19:14.26stefan_schmidt;)
